Do you know the #aeronauticalinformation datasets that AIS shall publish?

Terrain and obstacle datasets were already an ICAO Annex 15 requirement since 2013. The 16th Edition brings 3 more. Let’s see the full list:

⛰️Terrain: grid of terrain elevations at defined geographical intervals
🗼Obstacle: “vertical and horizontal extent of obstacles” plus metadata

And the new datasets:
📖AIP: the contents of the AIP, or whatever is available🤷 (more about this soon)
🛬Aerodrome Mapping: aerodrome data for charting, EFB, situation awareness…
📉Instrument Flight Procedure: IFP data, avoiding long non-standard data tables in AIPs

✅AIS shall also publish a checklist of valid datasets.
